Description:

CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a request for application announcement entitled, ?Health Promotion and Diabetes Prevention Projects for American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) Communities: Adaptations of Practical Community Environmental Indicators.? $525,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2005 to fund five to seven awards. The purpose of the program is to strengthen local capacity of AI/AN communities in implementing limited practical community environmental interventions for health promotion and diabetes prevention.
